Decorative Cloths pins using Masking Tapes!

Masking tape, also known as sticky tape, is a type of pressure sensitive tape made of a thin and easy-to-tear paper, and an easily released pressure sensitive adhesive. Masking tape was invented in 1925 by 3M employee Richard dew.
Nowadays masking tapes are widely used for decorative purposes. They are printed with different patterns, some Japanese tapes are made of washi paper.More about washi tapes in my next post.Masking tapes are available as stickers which are easy to use like the patterns shown below.

I bought the pastel set in masking sheets, various sets are available. I used them to create colorful cloth pins to clip photographs onto a twine!

It is so easy to make..peel and stick them. To ensure that the wont come peeling off ..apply a coat of liquid glue on top and allow it  to dry! You can use them right away!

I also made few bigger cloth pins on order :) here is how pretty they look :)

Made a set with these pastel color masking sticker set ..and this can be used to clip images too..

Loved taking pictures of these :) tell me how you like them :)

You can see the entire album here on my FB page Masking Tape Creation

Enjoyed making these .. will make any wall look adorable with images clipped onto it :) About washi tapes in my next post ;)
